I am still focussed on central and eastern Europe and came across this pretty view of Lithuania's capital, Vilnius. Have you visited? What did you see? I quite like to go and check out the design scene myself.

Remembrances of Russia & Lithuania

I was invited to a costume party last week and one costume I considerd was to go as 'Anna Karenina'. During my research for outfit ideas I really got into Russian 'old world' decor so I found these sumptuous overstuffed interiors by Alexandre Vassiliev, an international costume and set designer based in Paris,  who decorated his 1950s apartment in Moscow and a 1913 dacha in Vilnius, Lithuania, with a studied eye to the past. I think they evoke a csarist Russia.
