Painterly approach
This is the Berlin atelier/flat of a renown Austrian painter, Xenia Hausner. I am a sucker for artists spaces! The space was designed to her specifications as Xenia does not believe in seperating her professional and private life (Fantastic concept, although I guess in numerous other professions a seperation is rather healthy).
It is so rare to see flats that are not tidied up and styled, so this space feels very real. I like the open space concept, the very organised pantry, and the hardwood floors.

Sleepless in Vienna
Welcome to Vienna! Capital of Austria, great coffee houses, art nouveau architecture, the United Nations, and lots of famous musicians ranging from Mozart to Kruder & Dorfmeister.
The DO&CO Design hotel is architecturally adventurous and located in the very centre of Vienna. Imagine a summer evening at the bar on the 7th floor overlooking the city.
Since Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe I added a few photos of Vienna from Flickr.

Rococo revival
Rococo is en vogue. Even IKEA, poster child for pure Swedish style, has been jumping on the bandwagon although their furniture are toned down. Rococo became a popular style in Europe between 1700 - 1750. A fine example of rococo architecture is Schloss Schönbrunn in Vienna, Austria. I can highly recommend visiting the Schloss and the surrounding park.

Don't you agree that rococo style is truly 'European Chic' (as long as it it sparsely used).
