Hello! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Some time ago Anthropologie finally made it to this side of the pond (to London, to be precise). They sell bohemian stylish objects for the home.
I have major flat envy! And the owners are part of the Danish label Day Birger et Mikkelsen Home which I love, too!. The flat is in a purpose built 1980s building in Copenhagen with no particular architectural features and yet they managed to create a bohemian yet modern atmosphere. I must warn you, the place is huge - 400 square meters. I´ll do a post on the Day Birger et Mikkelsen Home collection, soon.
Isn´t this a beautiful impressive church? The duomo di Teramo began construction in 1158. I love the lions that protect the beautiful portal and the stripey walls.
P.S. .´..... Impressions´ is going to be part of a series.
My dream tree house. Ideal for eating with friends and family or lounging and dreaming. Its actually prety big with 10 square meters. Designed by an architect in Bremen, Germany.
Would you like to have a tree house? Did you have one when you were young?
Görvälns Slott near Stockholm is one of Sweden´s fairy tale château from the 1750´s. The fabulous rococo beds in the otherwise understated enviroment really do it for me. The original tile oven is wonderful, too.
I think my obsession with hotel design stems from the fact that in a hotel you can go much more over the top design wise and I tend to like things I would not necessarily use at home.
Believe it or not, this flat has little natural light and is only 39 square meters. The interior designer has done a great job lighting up the space and using a good mix of light and dark colours I love the doors in this flat and the mixture of mid century and older furniture.
I never thought that I would blog on European Chic about the football world cup in South Africa which is starting today but when saw the Robomow RL2000 I couldn´t resist. The Germans figured out how to combine their love for football, design and engeneering. How cool is this!
The study of Sara Stockbridge, a writer and former Vivenne Westwood muse, in Brixton, London. I especially like the black wall because it really makes the window pop and contrasts nicely with the wall full of artwork.
In the beautiful port city of Hamburg, Germany I discovered this small jewel of an interior design/jewellery shop called Die Remise owned by a stylist and a goldsmith.
