Green with envy

Photo: Nuovo Estilo Espagne

I am really into green lately. Both as an accent colour and the main colour. There are so many shades I like.
Do you like green in your home? Why/why not? (Now you can actually share your opinion in the new comment section)

Where can I find one for myself? I love it!

I imagine lying in this bed must feel like being back in the womb. (I've read that we unconsciously always look for this place.)

German Impressions IV

'Naturally', in order to recover from my Italy trip at Christmas time I spontaneously decided  to go to Frankfurt am Main, a four hour train ride away from Paris. Ok, I am just kidding, I simply wanted to travel and any reason works for me. There were lots of cute shops around, especially in the Bergerstrasse area. I'll post the second batch in a few days.

On a different note; I finally got round to activating the comment function, so comment away! I love interacting with my readers. A few readers had written in and asked about commenting on my blog. There was no particular reason not to do it so now I cross my fingers that it works.

House with a view

Welcome to Ibiza! Today I wanted to start the day with some sun rays. This house is a Mediterranean dream! Whitewashed walls, wood beams and a huge sunroof with a view.

Italian Impressions IV

Greetings! This post is a bit late but after it took me four (4) days to travel to Italy at Christmas (remember the snow everywhere in Europe?) I absolutely had to take another holidays last week to recover from this trip. On the bright side, I met tons of lovely people along the way in the same situation and, hey, at least I did not have to spend Boxing day at the airport unlike some fellow passengers. Anyway, here are a few photos I took along the way. More on my trip last week tomorrow.

Guest post: Istanbul was Constantinopel

If you have been following my blog you know that I like visiting Turkey from time to time. I fell in love with  Turkish design duo Autoban when I first discovered them in Wallpaper magazine in 2004.  So today on sfgirlbybay my guest post is going to feature the flat of Seyhan Özdemir and Sefer Çağlar, the two designers behind Autoban, and one of the cafes they designed in Istanbul.

I love hanging out in Istanbul and I am sure you will, too. Enjoy the sneak peek here and see the full post over on sfgirlbybay!

The devil is in the details

Photo: Living etc.

Sometimes I bookmark a flat or house where I love one detail but not the whole thing so today I compiled some of my favourite details, for the first time in one place.

(I want these punk vases badly- they are so Vivienne Westwood, a favourite designer of mine)
