German Impressions II

Let me go down in history as saying that German Christmas markets are much, much better than French Christmas markets. So when we went to Hamburg, Germany we made sure to go to one and also check out all the lovely Christmas decoration one (me) can buy (bought lots).

Rathaus (city hall) where the Christmas market was held

Hamburg, being a port city, has obviously a captain helping Santa

 Hmm, lots of German sweets...

Alsterarkaden with a view to the lake in the city centre. Did you know that Hamburg has more bridges than Venice?

 I liked the Jugendstil lettering
