It is good to be back in Paris but my trip to China was amazing. I loved the food, the people, the architecture, the ancient history, well, everything. Here are a couple of imrepssions from the forbidden city, the great wall, the buddha temple, etc.
The last photo is rather strange, isn't it? It was the sign on my hotel door.

ReplyDeleteHow amazing was it?????? When I was about 5 years old, my grandparents (who were in China during Mao's time!) sent me a postcard of the marble boat @ the summer palace. 20 years later, I saw it in person. by then I could figure out why it did not sink!!!!!
